Amanda Brugel

Pointe Claire (February 27, 2010 until Toronto ON). Pointe Claire is a quiet town situated on the West Island, which is part of the Montreal island. This West Island, to those not familiar with it, is a large region that runs from Lachine to the west. Amanda Brugel's hometown is often mentioned, but her brief stay wasn't. Brugel grew up in Courtice near Oshawa Ontario. She had a dream to dance however a rapid growth rate led to her growing beyond her dance partner. She was awarded an Fine Arts Talent Scholarship to take part in York University's Theater Program and graduated from the program in 2000, earning a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts. In the past 20 years, her work has been seen on the small and big screen. She gained the most attention when she won her character of Rita in the award-winning television series The Handmaid's Tale. Brugel appeared only on rare occasions in the first season of the show The Handmaid's Tale. The only Canadian member.
